Confirming
the promising prospects for 2017, new car market statistics show 13,782 new
registrations during January, up by 21.87% compared to the same period a year
ago.
The passenger car segment posted a volume of 12,780 units, up by 21.18%, while a total of 1,002 light commercial vehicles were sold (+31.32%).
The Moroccan automotive market was able to maintain its good performance after marking an historic record of 163,110 units sold in the past year, an increase of about 24% compared to 2015, with a predominance of the passenger cars segment (152,324 units), followed by light unit vehicles (10,786 units).
